Description

Review assets displays a list of reviews with rating, reviewer’s name, reviewer’s image (optional) and the review. There are two assets related to the review.

1. Review with Yelp - Yelp Reviews through Yelp API you can enter the Yelp business ID (you can get it with the help of the get_yelp_id agent) and the number of reviews for it to start displaying reviews. You can also change the color of the stars if you want. To make this work you should also add the database, orgAmpPrefix and token for the agent
2. Review with Clipper - Reviews via a hardcoded table or remix Chrome extension. You can enter the name of the reviewer in the name field, their image in the image_url field (optional), their rating in the rating field and their review in the text field. You can change the colors of the stars of the rating with an accent color.

Dependencies and related assets

If you want to use the Review with Yelp asset, you will require the get_yelp_reviews cloud agent set up in your workspace and enter the correct details in the in bindings of the asset.

If you want to use the remix extension (i.e. the clipper) you should set it up on your workspace to get the reviews from the website of your choice.

Getting hardcoded reviews require no dependencies

Limitations

Yelp API limits its reviews to a maximum of 3 per API call. It also does not work in Chrome or any chrome supported browser, though it will work if you use it in runtime, as an appclip or as a .remix file.
